Basic Beach Management
The Basic Beach ManÂageÂment (SilÂver MedalÂlion) course is usuÂally conÂducted in club areas.
The aim of this course is to preÂpare you for iniÂtial work as a Patrol CapÂtain, Team Leader, Duty CapÂtain and simÂiÂlar roles, and is the first step in underÂtakÂing the Beach ManÂageÂment ProÂgram which will enable you to gain the CerÂtifiÂcate III in PubÂlic Safety (Aquatic Search and ResÂcue) PUA31304.

PreÂreqÂuiÂsites
To enter the Beach ManÂageÂment course you must be:

a finanÂcial memÂber for the curÂrent season

MinÂiÂmum 17 years of age

ProÂfiÂcient in Bronze MedalÂlion OR Have held Bronze MedalÂlion and proÂfiÂcient in a surf award
ComÂpleÂtion of this course will enable you to:
