• Respect the rights, dignity and worth of others

• Be fair, equitable, considerate and honest in all dealings with others

• Be professional and accept responsibility for your actions

• Use facilities and equipment for their proper purposes while caring for and maintaining facilities and equipment correctly

• ​Refrain from behaviour which may abuse, intimidate or harrass others

• Remember that the child is participating in surf lifesaving for their own enjoyment

• Focus on the child's efforts and performance rather than winning and losing

• show appreciation for good performance by all participants

• Never ridicule or yell at a child for making a mistake

• Respect officials decisions and teach the children to do the same

• Never physically or verbally abuse or harrass anyone (coach, official, age manager, etc.) associated with Nipper activities

• Be a positive role model for others.

 

This code of conduct applies to everyone involved with Nippers. Breaches of this code of conduct are referred to the Kirra SLSC Grievances Officer where disciplinary action may be taken.
